Q: On the second day the needle threader stopped working! I checked and rechecked everything multiple multiple times, but can’t fix it! Why?

Keep the presser foot UP, as that frees the thread running through your machine. If you put it DOWN, it locks the tension discs inside the machine, which will prevent the thread from reaching the needle. It's imperative that you allow the thread to move freely during the auto-thread sequence. Also, you need to keep your needle in its highest position. If you have the needle icon on your machine, press it. The needle should automatically go down and if you press it again, it will go up, which will put it at its optimum position. If you do not have this feature, then turn the wheel along the right. When the needle is at its zenith (highest point), activate your needle threader. You may have to fiddle with the wheel until you get it just right. If the threader is not damaged, it should thread easily. However, if all else fails, take it to a dealer who specializes in Brother sewing/emb. machines. It should not 'break the bank' to get it fixed or, at the very least, get some schooling on your machine. :-D If they have lessons, I highly recommend taking some! Also, you might want to join a few embroidery/sewing groups on Facebook; I have learned SO MUCH from those who have been at this hobby for decades. Machine Embroidery Enthusiasts, Machine Embroidery Help, and there are Brother embroidery machine groups, too. I own a Babylock, which is basically the same thing as a Brother, only w/out the Disney relationship, so I have also joined the Flourish and Aventura machines group. Both Babylock and Brother use the same manufacturing plant in Japan to build their products, so the designs and features are very similar. Happy stitching! :-D As for thread in general, always use 90/14 needles with 40 wt thread. I have had the best luck
