Pages missing and clearly a liquid had been spilled on the workbook making half the pages look yellow and fringy. Other than big downsides, i suppose it is the workbook I wanted, hopefully I have enough of the pages to pass the class.

This rating isn't about the instructional content -- just a word of caution to those thinking about buying used textbooks. If you buy it used, make sure the vendor can confirm all the pages are there. I bought one rated "good" with "some wear to the cover and limited or no markings; binding is tight." Total waste of time since 2-3 pages were missing at the end of almost every chapter (including the one that gives you access to the audio). It's completely useless without the audio. I recommend buying it new. If you need to turn in any pages, photocopy and turn those in; then, honestly sell the book used in better condition with all pages intact. You'll get a better resale price & the buyer will get what s/he needs.

Highly recommend for simplified Chinese learning.

The book arrived in good condition, and it seems like a comprehensive test of topics from the textbook. However, the answer key is not provided, and accessing it as a home learner requires paying an additional $90 on the manufacturer's website. I can't recommend this.

The book was brand new, glossy, and beautiful. The pages can be ripped out in case you need to turn them in for an assignment.
