Campingaz 907 EMPTY Bottle

Used it for my horse box as I couldn’t get hold of anything larger

The 907. Not just bigger than the 904, but a bigger continuous offtake. It will power the Super Carena (and its clones) or the Stellia R lantern. It is a good stable base, unlike cartridge mounted equipment. You might still be able to get a Campingaz "potence" threaded pipe to convert your lantern to a patio lantern.Some get a bit grubby with cooking items after they have been doing the rounds. You can get a cover for it, which looks like a tea cosy.Not advisable to use on a twin burner with both rings at a continuous high setting as this would be above its maximum offtake capacity (probably about 3kW). Not recommended for stoves with a grill (or oven) for the same reason. Fine for all lanterns.In cold weather leave in a bowl of warm water as butane (unlike propane) liquefies at 0 degrees. When the gas is drawn off, the cylinder goes colder, so you need to give it a bit of warmth to encourage the gas out in cold weather. If you only need this for cold weather and only outside, then go for a propane bottle instead.The cylinder can be used indoors with suitable indoor equipment in a large area with good ventilation (Butane burns about 30 times the volume of air as the gas itself) such as a CampinGaz Camping Kitchen WITH STOPGAS feature or a Foker boiling ring with FFD. Not with both burners on full for long periods however.Screwing the cylinder to the Campingaz regulator is a bit of a pain as you have to roll the cylinder to meet the thread of the regulator. It's easier buying a Campingaz to Calor Gas adaptor and using a Calor Gas 4.5kg regulator with a Union 109 on the appliance. It also means that you can use a 4.5kg Calor bottle as your spare alternative bottle when the 907 runs out or when the appliance needs a 4.5kW offtake.

It was the only size bottle to fit my van and a lot cheaper than buying locally.

The empty bottle was fine. To have to pay out another £36 to swap it for a full one is a bit rubbish.

Really speedy delivery. Came with a handy carry bag. Excellent service.
