I actually ordered 4 sets of these since I have loads of tropical plants. The reason mold develops for others is because they do not remove the plug on the bottom of the stone humidifier. I did that as well but then read the directions again. It says to fill the stone with water and do not put plug back in the bottom. I pressed the stone upside down in the dish so it won't leak out. NO MOLD and it works great!

It's a great concept but the stones are relatively small so not sure hiw effective they are going to be.After several months I found them to be a waste of money. Constant refilling and the globes became moldy.

Theses absolutely do nothing, they look pretty. I put the large one in a 18x24x36 reptile enclosure for over a week did not raise humidity at all, don't waste your money I wish I had not purchased.

My cat is happy that I haven't shocked him since I bought these. And my clothes aren't full of static cling. Really needed a humidifier but didn't want to deal with figuring out where to plug it in, cleaning it, buying bottled water and looking at the ugly thing. It's surprising that these need refilling often because they're actually putting moisture into the air. And they look great. Very aesthetically pleasing. Didn't expect them to work so well, but they do.

Absolutely love these humidifiers! They don't take up much counter space and you don't have to deal with the hassle of cords, filters or noise. Bonus points for being aesthetically pleasing to look at, like something you would see at a spa!Even in the arid Colorado climate, these humidifiers work great and helps add just the right amount of humidity to a small-medium sized room and makes the room. Really helps my dry coughing fits while trying to sleep.I love not having to bring a huge bulky container to the sink to fill up every few days. Very soothing to pour the water over the stone. Going to order a set for my friend who lives in a small studio apartment.

They didn't really work. I put them in my plant cabinet to bump up the humidity, but my humidity meter never read any different.

I really like the style of these and they have worked really well in my greenhouse cabinet.
