Plugging it into the power socket supplied will not do anything. Some of you may do the same method when you charge your device with your pc's power - Same process, this time, it adds the benefit of enabling volume settings in the On-Screen Menu)...but who needs sleep when I have an amazing portable monitor to play with?This was waiting for me after work. (Actually, it came before my shift - Super fast shipper!) And I just opened it.Even before I opened the monitor, I was impressed by the appearance of the screen. All of my other monitors feel like.. rough plastic, if this makes sense? Not at all smudge resistant. I'm not sure if this one uses some form of Tempered glass, but it feels like it! Despite it not being a touch screen, the surface feels smooth to the touch,, and when gently tapped with a fingernail, doesn't sound like the typical plastic that is added to most flat-panel monitors.Plug and Play indeed! No power cord required, simply connect one end of your USB-C to the portable monitor, the other end to your device, and it starts right up after a short 'Welcome" screen. The quality of this monitor is crisp, clear, and perfect for the price!I haven't really had to adjust any settings, so I am sure that people better at Tech than I will find a way to for an even better experience.The sound quality is also perfect - not at all tinny. Portability, due to it's smaller size and kickstand, it should easily be carried (Comes with a sleeve!) and set up in most spaces.All in all, this has been a great sale, and since I was actually going to buy gorilla glass for this monitor, due to the fact that whatever material is used in the screen, it feels absolutely perfect for my needs.Please recommend this to your friends! Solid choice for travel and use on the go. I have used it with my laptop and my iPad. It displayed the picture and I was able to adjust settings like brightness with no issues. Versatile and handy second monitor. No issues connecting to my device. Easy to connect with a single USB - C cable to both devices. Great value based on the low cost.

Came really quickly and in good build condition. Colors are vibrant, speaker is nice for the amount I spent, and overall connection was really easy to get done & straightforward. Only concern is a slight buzzing noise that the monitor makes anytime the brightness isn't at the maximum. Does not offer touch screen if that's a feature you're looking for, though.

At first impression i was pretty happy with this monitor. I'm not a fan of the aspect ratio but the last time i bought a monitor with this kind of clarity i had to spend $250 for it. I thought i'd gotten a relative bargain.Then i noticed bright banding across the bottom portion of screen. IDK if it was like this from the start or if it developed with use, because it's down by my taskbar and it's only immediately apparent in certain contrasting circumstances. But now that i know it's there i can't unsee it, and if it's already doing this i worry it will get worse.While i'm complaining i might as well also say, i really don't like the kickstand. It's unstable and the more you try to bring it towards vertical, the more it wobbles. At desktop level with the stand extended all the way, which is the only way it's somewhat stable, it's at an annoyingly acute angle. I might could've lived with that but in combination with the sketchy display that's one too many strikes.Bummer, because it might've been a good value. It still might be, for you, if you can tolerate being horizontally impaired, you don't mind your display at an angle and a bit wobbly, and the one you get doesn't have issues. It is a pretty picture for the money it just didn't work out for me.Edit: Neglected to mention on a positive note... this display has a full-sized HDMI port. This is unusual in these portable monitors but the mini-HDMI ports in most of them are eventual fatalities because of stress on the connectors, both on the cable and internally. So, extra bummer it didn't work out for me but extra happy for you if it does.

Super glossy , super bright contrasty 15" screen (but not matte 15.6" as stated in the ad), can see well in bright environments or outdoors. It comes with a cloth case (not "smart" as stated).The measurements are not consistent either.Unfortunately, because of these little things I had to return this screen, as it was important for me to clearly match the selected dimensions - and I chose these measurements very carefully, but alas, received completely different.Chinese sellers very often write mismatched specifications, wrong sizes, etc. - do they not realize that this increases the returns?The on-screen menu is peculiar, illogical, does not correspond to what is shown in the enclosed instructions. It looks like the manual is for a different model of monitor.The design is unremarkable, the cheapest flimsy plastic, and compared to a modern laptop looks rather rough and bulky.To summarize, I can say that this was a questionable purchase. I didn't like it.Although the brightness, colors and screen resolution are quite decent.

I was very impressed with the image quality. The build was a bit cheap but it’s reflected in the overall price. Very easy to setup. I’m happy with my purchase
