Just what I needed to close that gap between the stove and countertop. I never realized how much debris and drippings got through that gap until my husband moved out the stove to repair the tile backsplash.The extenders are easy to apply , look great and do the job of preventing spillage so perfectly.A tip from me would be get a color to match the colors of countertop rather than matching the color of the stove. That way it will blend in nicely as if it is a part of the countertop,

I just remodeled my kitchen last month and I needed a extender/spill guard for the sides of my stove. I search several sites but could not find the extender in my desired color of Black. I was beginning to think I'd need to buy a color I didn't want and paint it to match when I discovered this set of extenders; EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they arrived after ordering. These extenders are great! The size is perfect and the color was exactly what I needed. I put them in place and discovered that they have a VERY STRONG MAGNET! No crumbs or drips will get past these guards! I would definately recommend them to anyone who asked! We are remodeling our kitchen and wanted room to slide the stove top oven in and had a bit of a gap in different areas that was not even as in an old house, the walls, floors, etc are not even. I originally got a silicone gap filler that goes partially over the stove top & partially over the counter, except we had a severe height difference as floors not even close to being level. So scraped that idea and got an idea for magnetic ones someone recommended. We chose black ones to match our black electric range top on our stainless oven unit. We could move the magnet along the side of the oven up and down to be level with the counter. Magnet is stronger than I imagined and really stays in place, I deducted a star b/c I wish they were longer. We chose not to get a typical back splash on our laminate counter but instead to use mosaic tile and the counter top hangs in the front a little bit, thus the magnet is not long enough. Luckily, I plan to put things next tot he wall by the oven such as butcher block knives and utensil crock. Even if it was something that came bit longer that you could trim to the size you need.

This product was perfect for my stove. We recently purchased a new stove and in order for the stove to fit we had to cut the countertop. Since we are not professionals, the cut was very jaggid. The extender fit perfectly and looks like it's part of the stove! Could not be happier and I never write reviews!

I bought these a year ago, but am just now getting around to the review.This was exactly what I was looking for as far as design, but within a few months, the one side (that I cook the most on) melted onto the stove.I cant reposition the guard because the one piece is stuck to my brand new stove.They don't appear to be able to handle high heat or maybe not the heat from a gas stove?As much as they cost, I hoped for a sturdier product but at least they are preventing debris from falling down inbetween the stove and countertops and with a sleeker design than the typical products available.

These solved the problem of too much gap between the stove and the countertops and also prevents food particles from spilling down the sides of the stove. They come off easily to wash and the magnetized edges hold them in place nicely when in use. I looked for these in the box stores but they only carried one color and the quality was not as good! I recommend to anyone that needs gap coverage between an appliance & countertop. I leave them in place all the time.

This kit solved our problem! Because we have an uneven countertop, the metal kit that came with our stove wouldn’t fit properly, leaving an ugly, rough-edged gap all around our stove. The magnetic stovetop extender strips were just what we needed. Now we have a beautifully finished-looking edge! Wish we found them sooner!

The product itself is great to help eliminate the food crumbs getting in those tiny cracks. Also it adds the cosmetic look to keep the range flush with the counter.Now the real problem. The magnet strip melted and stuck to the side of the range. Seems odd that a product would be only used for cosmetic look and not true functionality.
