amFilm Glass Screen Protector for HTC One M8 Tempered Glass

Now, I can't attest to the actual impact protection because I have yet to drop or crack it. But besides that....I bought it because I wanted a happy medium between price and rating. After browsing and reading countless reviews, this one seemed by far the best. It was cheap, yet had all the same identical specs as expensive ones (like 9h hardness, curved edges..etc), had a great rating, some very positive reviews..etc. It also has 2 things that most others didn't. One is a very high % of light getting through (some others were like 92-94% and more expensive!). And best of all; a warranty! And I know I can trust the warranty bc others in the reviews commented on using it =)The kit itself great! It came in a high quality feeling box. It has the screen protector, a 2 step alcohol wipe set, a long sheet of dust removal & hinge stickers, a squeegee thingy, and wipe cloth.The application was literally the easiest I've ever done and so stress free! The huge factor in this was the round tabs that are attached to the top and bottom for you to hold and position without any worry. I used the directions, did it in a humid bathroom, and used the hinge method. I didn't even need the squeegee thing because the second I put the screen down onto my phone, it slowly and evenly sucked down, taking ALL the bubbles out all by itself! I have a straight and centered screen cover now with zero finger prints, zero dust, and zero bubbles (which is a first for me).The screen itself feels great. It also fits my screen very well. I have my phone case (tech 21) on and it's not interfering with it at all. I can't even tell I have a protector on. It feels so much smoother than my old zagg protector! It has perfect clarity. No rainbow effect. Edges are sticking well. And I know that 9H means it won't scratch easily so that's comforting.I got 2 so that if one breaks, I can rotate them and put a new one on that very day so I won't have a space of time where it's not protected while waiting for the mail. I didn't just get it for scratches, but to absorb impact hoping that it would break instead of my screen cracking, which has happened to literally every HTC phone I've had.Overall I'm extremely happy I purchased this brand out of so many to choose. It's great quality for a great price. 5 stars and I highly recommend this one!UPDATE - well, I have dropped my cell plenty of times since putting on the protector. Today, I finally dropped it and lifted to see a diagonal crack on the screen. I crossed my fingers, peeled away, and pulled it off to a perfectly conditioned screen! I'm so glad that the protector cracked instead of the screen. I'll never know what would have happened if it wasn't there, but I do know that these little things do give me peace of mind meaning I'm gona keep using them for sure. So I still recommend this product still~

Nothing to complain about, except for something that's not the screen protector's fault.Purchased the tempered glass version, with the intention of using it with a SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle case. Both fit on the phone, but the case just barely fit over the protector as well. The case seemed to be pushed away from the volume button side, making the buttons slightly harder to press, and if you didn't press just the right way it would pull part of the screen protector off the screen. However, several weeks on, the case plastic seems to have relaxed and everything is settled in. I would recommend trying to install the glass a little offset away from the volume button side, if I were to do it again.Otherwise: application of screen protector is easy. Comes with all necessary cleaning and application supplies, and comprehensible directions for applying the protector. If you can get away with it, I'd recommend keeping the screen factory clean until installing the screen protector, this made life a little easier. Glass feels good, only very slightly "stickier" than the HTC One M8 screen, but I only ever notice this if I'm paying very close attention. No visual distortion, touchscreen responsivity and touch accuracy seems unaffected. Does not create any sharp edges. Might look a little silly to have just this relatively thick glass on the front of the phone without a case.

Definitely need this screen protector if you want to keep the resale value on your phone! Before I bought this glass screen protector I had a plastic one that got scratched very easily, I have yet to see a scratch on the glass screen protector yet! In fact, it even made the minor scratches I had on my screen disappear! The best part is that you can barely tell its there.This tempered glass screen was very easy to install and comes with everything you need. It includes the screen protector, an alcohol cleaning wipe, micro fiber cloth and a dust removal sticker. Clean the screen of your phone with the alcohol pad and dry with the micro fiber clothe, remove any remaining dust or fibers with the dust removal sticker, then slowly lower the screen protector making sure to line it up correctly, then press the center of the screen down with little pressure and you will see it start to adhere itself to the phone screen. The air bubbles if installed correctly with disappear on their own. I wiped the screen off immediately with the microfiber cloth to remove my finger prints and applied a little pressure just for piece of mind the protector was fully adhered.As soon as I installed the protector I was amazed at just how much clearer and more vivid my phone screen became. It may have a lot to do with cleaning the phone thoroughly before installing but the colors seem to be brighter and more vivid and the screen look a lot clearer.
