Pflueger PRESSP President Spinning Combo fishing Reel Rod

Been in the market for a decent light setup for a while. I've been eye balling this setup on and off for months. I was doing another round of window shopping on what happen to be primeday, got it for a steal. I'm super happy with this purchase. I picked up a 25x on a 6'6" light rod.I've used it numerous times and have caught 18 inch small mouth bass, pan fish, cat fish, drum and a small pike! Ever fight with this rig is as exciting as the last.The reel is smooth and the drag is crisp! I have 8lb powerpro with a 6lb flouro leader. In this. Configuration the rod feed back is excellent. I feel everything going on down there. Hook sets are sharp and fast! I'm in love with this combo!

This turned out to be a great Prime Day purchase. The rod is of average quality (typical combo quality rod), but it was basically a freebie, considering the price of the combo was less than the normal price of just the reel. The reel itself is very smooth, and when wound with high quality mono- does not twist the line. The bail is solid and durable. I have a lighter weight President reel (25 series) that has been trouble free for the last 5 years of heavy use.

Good Combo, if only I got the entire rod. Only received the lower part of the rod and the reel....

Very nice combo. The rod is responsive and the reel silky smooth. I would have prefered a slightly smaller reel, but that's just my personal preference. I matched this up with some KastKing 6lb. CoPolymer line, and it makes a very nice jigging rod.

I just recieved this today, it came with no handle on the reel, going to try and find a handle

This is a solid combo, real is very smooth and feels robust. I will be picking up a few more of these.

Well made. Nice size & weight for backpacking.

Nice setup poor design cork broke just before reel first time out fishing. Not happy with poor craftsmanship.

Great for walleye casting

Lightweight and compact. Very easy to carry. Can be used for fresh or salt water fishing. Good action. Was also able to use in surf or at the bay. Also suitable for children.

This is the nicest spin cast rod and reel I have used.

Great price ,good set up

Feels and looks good but there is is one little problem with rod no tip was installed on rod end, amazon is sending a replacement.
