This is more of a delightful woodsy frankincense kind of aroma. If you're looking for a pure sandalwood buy the Satya (BNG) made in Bangalore Sandalwood scent in the bright yellow box, not this Nag Champa Sandalwood from Mumbai, which is a blend made by the other brother's company. There are two brothers who split their father's Satya business after he passed away. If you're looking for the "traditional" blue box Nag Champa scent I recommend those from Satya BNG-Bangalore brother.

No, there is 12 boxes. In those twelve boxes, you get about 20 or so. To us this was worth it. There might even be more. It goes by ounces.
