Really appreciate that there is this type of product Available.
I have to be completely honest and say these strips were not used by my daughter after alcohol, She suddenly had to give up breast feeding her daughter so she had no use for them however....We really appreciated that there is a product available so mum can have an alcoholic drink and continue to feed her child with reassurance.20 strips was more than enough to cover the period that my daughter planned to breast feed.We looked at the pack and the instructions were clear enough and the strips were straightforward to use. Her result was obviously OK as she hadn't had any alcohol when she tested one on a practice run. What a brilliant idea and peace of mind to enable mum to not have to be left out of celebrations.

Clear instructions & easy to use
I'd not heard of these before but they're a great idea.If you want to have a few alcoholic drinks but worry that the next morning you might still be giving your baby alcohol in your milk this test should reassure you.Tested on two separate days I think these appear to be accurate and if anything are more likely to give a false positive rather than a negative. However if the strip test says you do have alcohol in your milk you're not going to risk it so it's always wise to have some breast milk (frozen from an alcohol-free day) to hand. The test itself really couldn't be easier. You just express a little milk into a clean container then put a test strip into the milk for 10 seconds, ensuring it is thoroughly wetted. Wait two minutes and check the colour of the strip tip to the chart.I feel that for most people, a box of 20 will last about five months (speculating that you might use 1 or 2 per week although it could well be less), £20 seems good value.

Peace of mind.
Since alcohol can have serious consequences for babies such as impaired motor development and changes in sleep patterns, these tests are a great way to ensure to the best of your ability that your baby doesn’t have any in your breast milk.It means you can have a night out and a few drinks which we all could do with now and again, without worrying when your milk will be safe.Alcohol levels are usually highest in breast milk 30-60 minutes after an alcoholic beverage is consumed, but can be generally still be detected in the breast milk for about 2-3 hours per drink after it is consumed. These tests will show you when you’re clear and good to go.There are 20 test strips and you get accurate results in 2 minutes. The darker the blue colour the higher the alcohol concentration. It’s easy to see at a glance. As with most tests of this nature sometimes the readings might be a bit ambiguous but generally speaking you will get a rapid result that’s accurate. In my opinion this is a great little kit to have and I believe it’s good value for 20 tests.I hope you find my review helpful.

Brilliant
It's always nice to celebrate the birth of a baby or a birthday but sometimes a breast feeding mother can be a little left out. This is a good way to have your wine and still feed your baby safely. Having said that its very likely a good idea to have a pouch in the fridge in case you get a positive result. You get 20 tests in the pack so they should last you a few months with an occasional drink.

Very good
I didn't know this existed and how useful it is for those who breastfeed, sometimes I want to have a glass of wine but those who breastfeed know that there is always a concern to know if the alcohol is still in our body or if it will pass into the milk , with this it is very easy to know if the milk is safe for the baby. Whoever invented this was certainly thinking about mothers who need break and at the same time worry about their baby's milk!

Instructions aren’t accurate
Wait 10 minutes for result to show, after 2 minutes (as per the instructions) it might still show a false negative.

Very good idea
This is a great idea and is very easy to use. This will put your mind at ease and make having a night off from breast feeding much safer. You can calculate how many hours to how many units, but this is more precise and gives a clear physical representation of the alcohol content. Good value and not bad quality.
