The hammock arrived right on time.The hammock material is made of a heavy duty material. It’s a bit plastic like feeling sort of like an industrial trap. Seems like it will hold up well to rips and most likely won’t rot. Very water resistant. It may be a bit sticky to bare skin on a hot day. No air flow through the material. I think mosquitoes will have a hard time biting through it.My biggest complaint is whoever strung the webbing installed the material so that all the sewn seams are on the side you lay on. If I wanted to untie 36 knots I suppose I could turn it over. It’s sort of like wearing a shirt inside out right now. Most people won’t notice this but as you’re lying on it for long periods of time it’s hard not to think of the dummy that strung it upside down.The string is a soft cotton type material. I guess I was expecting something a bit more weather resistant but so far no issues.I really wish the wooden bamboo supports were one piece rather then being hinged. I could see this being a weak point at sometime in the future but for now it doesn’t seem to be an issue.Overall the curved design is very nice looking and pretty comfortable with a pillow.Im keeping the product despite a few issues. 4 out of 5 stars is the best I’d rate this hammock.

The curved wooden bars make the hammock much safer than without the curve, as you are more cradled and less likely to fall out. It can be difficult for some children and adults to get in and out of a hammock, so this feature both helps (less likely to roll off) and hurts (it might be more difficult to get out if you have limited mobility.) The fabric is comfortable, and without a mesh it keeps you from having elbows or hands go through the mesh as in string hammocks. However, if you are in a hot area the fabric is not as cool as a net hammock would be. Overall, I think it is great for my needs.

Super quick, no tool assembly. Looks great, good quality for the price. I’m 6’4” 220 and fit comfortably.

The frame is heavy, well made and very easy to put together and take apart. But, It can be tipsy with this heavy duty extra wide hammock. So, I used this frame with a different hammock that I ordered separately. It’s still easy to tip if you’re not careful. I attached the hammock that came with the stand to two trees instead. I’ve had what seems to me to be the same exact hammock before. At that time, I was able to order it without the stand. Unfortunately, this time it didn’t give me that option with this company. I was surprised that this hammock retained water in the mesh and it turned the white stripes blackish. I’ll try pressure washing it out. I’m surprised because the previous one that I bought didn’t do that and I left it up year round. So, my review is mixed feelings. The hammock itself is great!

I am so happy I went with this hammock! It was super easy to assemble, approximately 5 minutes. The spreader bar is segmented so it is easy to store and isn't very bulky.
