great product
I bought this to help strengthen leg muscles and core muscles (front and back) and my overall balance (proprioception - look it up on Google). It is a very nicely made product - I bought the 50cm version which is for beginners to intermediate. There's also a 40cm board for intermediate to advanced. The difference is simply that the 50cm one doesn't tip as much so is easier to use. The board has a nice non-slip surface and a wooden half ball underneath. Be careful with putting the board on carpet: it makes quite a dent. Also, make sure you hold onto a chair or something similar when you start using it - to avoid falling. I've only used it for less than a week and I can feel the benefit in ankles, hips, thigh muscles and core -- that's a lot covered by one item! Don't overdo it when you start, build up slowly. It comes with a helpful exercise chart. Best money I've spent for a long time.

I love this
This is a great wobble board and the price is good! Was using my physios one and then decided to get one to keep up the practice. It has really helped me - through balance, co-ordination, strengthening my legs and proprioception. Highly recomend along with vivobarefoots Lucy Lite shoes for walking if you have had balance/movement problems - both of these worked wonders for me.I place the ball on the bottom on a book and it gives a greater hieght and then doesn't make marks on the carpet at all. Also this is much better for front-back and side to side wobbling as it gives you more of a tilt.Excellent non slip covering - my feet don't slip at all which is better than my physios (much more expensive) model. 5 stars from me!!!

Great board for beginners
Great board, rubberised, light and wide enough for beginners, I got this to aid recovery from a knee operation and its doing the trick. I've gone from not even being able to balance on one leg to bring able to balance on the board for 2-3 minutes in a couple of weeks use. There is a handy exercise sheet with the board which gives tips on exercises of increasing difficulty so you can progress what you do on it. Only reason for not marking 5 stars, the bottom of the board is shiny and as my flat has all laminate floors, I have to use this on a towel or it slides all over the place, maybe the bottom could be more slip resistant. Overall this is a great quality board for a good price and I would recommend!

Perfect for my uses
Choose this to provide a fun way for my son (who has severe learning difficulties, complex health needs and mobility issues) with an opportunity to learn to balance. Hopefully it will help him gain a greater awareness of his body and how to control it. He has to hold on to me for safety. His siblings love it so I can definitely see it getting plenty of use. Glad I got this 50 cm one - it was the biggest one I could find and is plenty big enough for his size 10 feet.Seems pretty sturdy, the top surface is non slip so use-able barefoot or with shoes (and kind of rubbery so comfy with bare feet too).

Top quality professional item
I'm currently recovering from an accident and as part of my rehab my physiotherapist recommended I purchase a wobble board so I could strengthen my ankles at home. This is an excellent, sturdy, professional-standard board, with good foot grip which I can already feel is doing me good. Although I'd already been given exercises, it came with a sheet recommending further exercises, which is really helpful. Also a bargain compared to others available which are twice the price. Excellent value and quality - thoroughly recommended.

too sensitive, very good quality inputs
it is a beautifully produced product, but it is so sensitive that you cannot maintain balance and go on to do further more complex exercises.... if you want to really fine tune your balance skills with the rest of your sensory system and muscle systems than the bottom of this needs to be flattened off slightly...

It's so easy to store as well
I bought this wobble board to strengthen my core and improve my balance when hill walking. I am surprised at how much of a workout it feels I have had especially in my legs and it really does strengthen my ankles. It's so easy to store as well, I just keep it under the sofa and use it when watching TV, so much better than just siting down. It comes with a chart with several exercises to do. It's very well made and sure it'll last many years, so well worth it.

Theropy, Fun and Challenging Board. Not so good for workouts.
Back in the day, my dad made me a wobble board when I was much younger and recovering from some blundering knee surgery. It worked very well at improving my leg and balance function. I also grow to enjoyed using it far more than I though I would. I bought the ResultSport board very recently when I notice that my leg, knee and ankle strength, as well as my balance, was going a bit off. I spent more money than I intended because I didn't want to be disappointed. The ResultSport board is much smarter, and challenging than my dad's fix up and seems just as much robust. It needs to be strong, as I confess I use it like a toy, leaving it out in my living space so that I can play with it when the mood takes. I know that if I can manage fifteen minests a day it will improve my leg strength and coordination but I am unsure if I will ever be able to do a full workout on it as it is so very wobbly. The utude workouts I have viewed all use flatter, less challenging(and less fun) boards. The nonslip surface is good and comfortable without shoes but a nonslip surface is needed for underneath (unless you want to do daredevil and ill advised stunts). If your carpets are valuable you will need to protect them from being flattened by the ball.
