I think it was pretty easy and it has worked well since the replacement

This battery doesn't work period. It can charge for days, and even then shuts off in a couple minutes of using my Sony. I have given up on my Bluetooth - most difficult battery I have ever replaced, and then it doesn't work any better than the 3 yr old battery I replaced. No stars for this dud!!
