SPITJACK Rotisserie Basket for Ribs, Chops, and Fish. Flat - 30 inches Long - Fits 7/8" Maximum Rotisserie Spit Diameter

We bought this for our gas grill which is located on our screened pool deck. My husband modified it slightly for our 1/4” split by adding a 3”x1”x1/8” aluminum flat stock piece to each inside end of the basket to stabilize the split. The piece had a 1/4” square notch to accommodate the square split.He also trimmed each of the four squeeze tabs about an inch then bent them with a vice to a 90 degree angle.These modifications allowed the rotisserie basket to fit inside our grill perfectly. The basket had about an inch clearance on each side as a result of the changes.We can’t wait to use the grill for ribs and chicken wings. It is awesome! Once our friends see it, they will definitely want one!

The description says for spit rods up to 7/8 but the screws are not long enough for anything less than 7/8. You will have to purchase longer screws ... other than that it seems to be a quality product.

I like it could use something in the center to hold it from expanding.

It says it fits spit rods up to 7/8 inch. It will if you buy longer screws as the ones included are very very short. The description for this product should be changed until maybe they start putting longer screws with the product so it will fit spit rods up to 7/8 inch!
