This pitcher is really nice! After reading reviews for all of the top sellers and being put off by either quality issues or the frequency at which they broke, I decided to take a chance on this unknown— mostly because I really liked the look of it. I nearly sent it back because it appears deceptively small. But it actually does hold 52 ounces— 54 if filled nearly to the rim. And really is crystal, which I honestly didn’t expect. It is well made—heavy-ish, has no seams, bubbles or flaws and the handle seems well-attached and sturdy. The rim will not keep ice or whatever from pouring out, but it doesn’t drip at all. It definitely would not withstand pouring boiling water in it or any other rapid temperature changes (very few glass, and no crystal vessels will withstand this, yet I notice it is often cited in reviews as the reason pitchers are broken).
