Yes, they are light brown and not red at all.

Q: Where are these made?

Not labeled on the packaging. Weird.

Q: Are these laces waxed? I don't want waxed laces. I'm looking for a soft lace for dress shoes (round lace instead of flat) but most are waxed.

These are round, but I don't think they are waxed. They come untied quite a bit even after I've made sure to pull the knot tightly. They are not a soft texture, just sturdy and of good quality.

Q: 2-hole shoe lace size?

My shoes had four holes and I purchased the 36 inch version.
