The old heat shields on our grill had rusted out, and made grilling a problem (hot spots). We ordered these, they came just as promised, they fit just as advertised, and they are an inexpensive way to get the grill back in operation (or operating as it should.) We would recommend it as a solution to this kind of problem. One note: you may want to look at the cross-grill tubes to see if they need replacing as well, as ours broke during the repair (also rusted out). It would have been better to have ordered both at the same time. However, that's not the fault of the heat shields, so I'm giving this purchase 5 stars!

These sit very low over the gas burners. Seems to work ok.

The heat shields arrived quickly and were as described. They dropped right in and I burned any remaining residue off and they work just as good as the original heat shields.
