Verizon LG K8V 8GB 4G LTE 5" Prepaid Smartphone - 2016 Model

Great phone. More bang for $85 dollars than u can imagine. Its actually my second one, as my first one felt water..

Did not even last a year. Phone would shut off on its own and restart. Started doing this a couple months ago. Yesterday it shut off on its own and will not restart or power up. LG says mail it in and be without a phone for 2 weeks. Purchased a protection plan but does not qualify as it’s a manufacturer defect. Will not buy LG again!!!!!

What is a replacement phone for my other one that quit working this one is working great

So overall fairly easy to activate with Verizon. As it says, only prepaid. If you have a contract with verizon, being post paid, it won't work. Prepaid, simply turn off new phone, insert your old sim card and poof. Google services helped me reload all of my apps i had on my other phone. And i just used bluetooth to get some files over. And i would back up everything onto a memory card first before you swap. There was a ton of updates it had to do, and the interface isn't what i prefer, but that's mostly due to me being used to the phone i had that got cracked, not because of it being a bad phone. For the price defnitely good. The only reason it has 3 stars and not 5 is just because of the battery dying in a day where my old phone would last several, but others had a long battery life. So i'll be replacing the battery and seeing if that helps. If it does, i'll change my rating to 5 stars. As far as shipping, there was a hitch where it came a day late but it was not due to the seller, just the mail system and i was given updates as to why it was running late. Cute little phone though. Finally found one that can fit in the pocket of women's jeans since we don't get real pockets.

I felt like someone should say something that actually relates to the phone, and not stupidity and probably a defective unit.4stars for being an above average Verizon exclusive phone.5mp front camera and 8mp rear camera both take great pictures WITH ADEQUATE LIGHTING.Rear buttons are well placed and reasonably intuitive. Out of the box memory is ok (16gb expandable w/micro sd). Speaker phone sucks. Lots of features I don't use but I'm sure others will like.All around solid smart phone for under $100

For the price all you can ask from a phone and great 8mp camera.

The phone is listed as being Verizon compatible, but when we took the phone into a Verizon store they could not activate. The system on this phone was not able to work with Verizon. I will be returning this purchase.
