These are definitely the best nail cutters I have ever used.Right up front I didnt buy these for catching nails. i have been looking for a good set of nail cutters for ever.I have a little thinker than normal nails (nothing crazy, just not normal thin nails), and every single cutter I have ever bought tend to cut right on one hand and be a little blunt cutting the other way, leaving jagged edges making filing a pita.These cutters feel and work like a nail cutter I have always wanted to. Cannot recommend them more.Pros:Everything, there is nothing I cannot recommend about these.Cons:Are HORRIBLE at collecting nails, would ignore that point completely.

These clippers do what they are supposed to and do it well. they feel comfortable to hold and use. The image gives the impression that they are an all metal construction but am sure that part of my handle is plastic. Don't let that put you off

I bought these primarily for the function of catching nail clippings but was very disappointed when I found that they don't catch clippings at all!Also the slide-back function for releasing the supposed clippings got stuck and wouldn't open and close.The clippers are sharp and cut through nails easily which is why I didn't give a 1 star review.I found it difficult to manage how much nail I trimmed off and felt that the way the clippers sat I ended up cutting my nails very short and even cut my toe, which I have never had a problem with before with other clippers.*Update, the sellers have contacted me very promptly offering to make this right and I really appreciate that and wanted to add this to my feedback.*

They almost lasted 3 years. The pin that hold the 2 main components together, snapped. Considering this is the component that is most under tension, I would expect this to last longer.

The clipper is a sharp one but it doesn't open fully so it is very difficult to cut toe nails. I had ordered two pairs but couldn't return it because I had to go abroad on my mother's funeral. Very pricy as well

Odd to be enthusing about a mundane object like a nail clipper but I was really knocked out by this little device. For years I have been struggling with (what I now know to be) third rate clippers which made the task of nail clipping a time consuming chore. This chap is sharp, well engineered and does the job magnificently. Well worth the price too.
