Works great looks good easy to install

Worked great for what I needed, put it on a 98 johnson 70hp. And connected to a new brp control box. Looks like its of good quality and just what was needed.

We got it to work but it would have been nice to have instructions for newbys.

Got the product with zero information and zero directions for hookup... left me confused

This harness gave me several problems. It is by no means plug and play.Ends of the loom taped in electrical tape which are sure to become undone in the elements. I zip tied the tape ends shut, should hold that off.The connectors were wrong. They had you trying to connect male-male and female-female. I had to cut and swap the connectors and plugs.In the process of doing so, I saw that the wires are not tinned! Just stranded copper. This isn’t even a marine grade wiring harness. I can understand someone had an off day putting on the wrong connectors but this is just cutting corners for cost. The copper in these wires will degrade over time.There are no instructions, but at least the color codes on the wires match.Could not get tilt/trim working, but it does start the motor with the key at least.Customer support washed their hands of responsibility for their product when I asked for help because it was fulfilled by Amazon. Fulfilled or not, you manufactured it wrong.Overall, a half baked product nowhere near worth the cost.
