Helping me practice/re-learn my 4 years of high school Latin 😚 ( 1950s😉)

I got this book as part of a birthday gift for my brother, who somehow survived six or seven years of Latin in junior-high and high school. He actually laughed aloud when he opened it (and realized what it was).

Your student or self should be end of the first year or in the second-year of Latin so that you dont have look up each and every word.

A beautiful, complex, and advanced translation. A brutal read for a beginner to Latin, but a wonderful intermediate work.

I didn't have very much instruction in Latin prior to buying this book. I learned how to read it out loud, and I got a basic grasp on the grammar. After only that, I can still read and understand this little book. The folks I have been working with have found that after a few readings, they know what is being said. This is how we learn our first language, and this is how people learn to think in other languages.I'd recommend this book to beginners who are looking to begin "the Natural way."

I read this book when learning Latin in college and am excited to read it to my young son to get him started with the language as a small child. It’s a great translation and a joy to read.

This is a lovely book about a lovable bear, his friends and adventures. If you like Winnie you should love this book. The Latin is fairly easy to understand and gives Winnie a new appeal.
