Mess Free Oil Changes Fits Honda EU2000i EU1000i Generator

This is a nice product, it makes draining the oil a lot easier and mess free. Fits well and easy to use.I keep it in a zip lock, as once it gets dirty it is hard to clean. Oil pickup rag through the bore to clean it is fine, but the outside stays dirty.I do not use it to fill with oil, too hard to see the oil level, and too slow to unscrew to check and screw in again, a tiny funnel is much easier.

Perfect fit on my EU2000. Takes the mess out of oil changes and makes them child's play. I love it when a simple product is of great quality and is a simple solution to the otherwise messy situation. Recommended product.

It's a good product that can be used in Honda inverter generators and also in 20" Honda Snowblowers. The machining and product quality is high. It IS expensive for what it DOES, however may not be that expensive for what it IS, given that I'd guess it is a low volume production item.I have a 2000i, a 2000i Companion, and a 20" Honda Snowblower, and can use it on all 3. The same could be said for a cheap rubber or plastic funner, however this is much more "elegant." Given the $2700 I have "invested" in these 3 Honda motorized products, I don't find the <$20 cost of this metal funnel to be much of an issue, but your opinion may differ. I do agree that it would be better if the far end was wider, which would make filling from the oil bottle easier, and also that having an easy way to measure the oil level with the funnel in place would be welcome.

Made changing my generator oil easier and with no mess. It also worked on my Honda snow thrower . A friend watched a You Tube video and made his own version from a piece of plastic plumbing pipe, but it is harder to use and do not think his was worth the effort for 17 bucks.

This item is very overrated. Sure, it works fine, but since dumping the old oil is not all that much worse than when using this item, it is NOT worth the price. I don't know why I bought it in the first place. Good seller and fast delivery but.....

This is a great way to keep your generator(s) clean. The oil drains without getting all over the plastic and makes for easy filling, just tilt the machine on its side and pour in your pre-measured amount of oil. The aluminum is very easy to clean up with some carb or brake cleaner. Though I recommend keeping the carb or brake cleaner away from the O-ring.

This helps to guide the oil in but I find you tend to overfill and cause a bigger mess.

I ordered a Honda generator after reading so many positive testimonials, it seems to live up to those alloclades.This product resolves one of the few short comings. Compact generator size means a tight squeeze to add oil, this makes what could be a messy job much easier.
