Works well
Does what it claims and fits well on my 2003 6.0. Temps went from ~195-205 to a solid 185.Like others stated the O-ring is a little big, but it does work, and I have no leaks.

Great product
This is a quality part. It is well machined and a perfect fit on 05 F250 SD 6.0 diesel. I love the lower temperature (187F) opening for Kansas weather which can be extreme. I coupled this with a Fix UR 6 Backflush system for my oil cooler and the truck has never had more steady or lower deltas from the EOT (Engine Oil temp) to the coolant temp. Our weather is relatively mild now so will need to see performance in 100 degree Kansas heat but I think this will only help maintain a more efficient engine oil temperature

Well made.
Port/valve for water flow is about 20% larger than what I remove , tempature is running cooler

Fits well.
Can't use the oring that comes with the kit. Too big. Will need a factory oring to install.

Highly Recommend
Put this in my Excursion with the 6.uh oh. Works well and keeps coolant temps pretty close to 180, haven’t used in the summer yet.

Stopped working after 3 weeks! Bad o-ring
Thermostat stopped functioning after 3 weeks. Do not recommend. O-Ring seems to have failed and I see now that many other customers have reported the same thing.

Works as it should
Coolant temp now runs around 186. Heat is still working like it should.
