I researched a LOT... I looked at many of the similar options out there, and decided to get this one. I'm so glad I did. It fit seamlessly into my daily life, and I can see if I would have picked up another brand, it wouldn't have met my needs adequately. I really needed a mobile electric system for when I am on the road. This system's 3 input charging options are extremely helpful for varying circumstances. It charges laptops safely, but my biggest thing for me is being able to do laundry on the road. This little sweetheart powers my portable washer and spinner through 2 full cycles of laundry; I love it so much. I've used it to power a curling iron in addition to all the gadgets and computers that need power. I can't imagine life without it, now. All of the charge times have proven to be accurate, and I like how well the solar panel works. I always cringe whenever solar people try to educate me about how to set up a system. Once they mention more than one type of wire, I glaze over. Knowing me, I'll get the wrong wire or the wrong solar panel, and I feared spending far more than I wanted to for a set up. This system takes all of that stress away! I usually run the solar panel cord through my sun roof to the battery on my vehicle's center console, and it's a perfect fit. The car charge cord is also the perfect length to reach to the car charge outlet if it's on my center console... no slack for people to get caught up in, and it stays out of the phone cord maze that sometimes happens when multiple people are charging at once. I also appreciate how the weight of the battery keeps it from moving around while I'm driving. It's perfect; heavy enough to stay still, but light enough to pick up with one arm. Their customer service is outstanding, too. Very prompt, friendly, and helpful. I have had this unit for over a year now. I bought it to power my CPAP unit while camping. I mounted the solar panel on a 3/8" sheet of plywood. That seems to give me the best charging. That way i can point it to the sun and get a full charge and not have to worry about the wind flopping the panel around. I recommend plugging it into the wall at home so you have a full charge before heading out. The first time I used it, I did not turn the humidifier off on my CPAP, as recommended. It did last the night. However, it was a pretty deep draw on the battery and the next night it only lasted about 6 hours. I have since turned off the humidifier on my CPAP while using it and have not had any issues since. It seems to get a full charge after about 6-7 hours on a sunny day. As expected, cloudy days may not get you to a full charge, but it was late fall with only about 8 hours of charging time when I had the cloudy day. It will charge your Iphone in a jiffy with the USB port. I'm not sure what the output amperage is on the USB ports, so you may want to verify that your phone can handle the charging rate. I have used it once when the power went out to power small appliances it home and it worked fine. All in all, it works well for what I need it for (CPAP) and I am very happy with the system.

I bought this setup for truck camping. I power a LP heater, led lights and CO/LP sensor with the unit. I like the option to use DC without running the built-in inverter, saves power. Usb and AC outlets work fine. Solar panel works as expected, works seamlessly with the power units mpt controller. Also like how compact and lightweight the power unit is. Seems to be made well, so far so good. Very happy!

I did a lot of research before buying and I am very happy! Both units are light weight. For the money 400 watts was the most powerful I could find. Sturdy build quality, I like the aluminum with minimum plastic. Silent operation. Customer service has been great answering promptly my questions. Easy to recommend 5 star product!

I bought this generator since we were warned that we you get power outage related to the risks of fire.It was taking me 9 hrs to charge from the wall and 14 plus hour to charge with the panel versus 6 as advertised. I was in touch with the company who tested the device several times and was not able to make it perform as it should. I liked the size, very compact and light, so I was very disappointed that it would not work out as planned.The company was very gracious during the entire process, they really try to make it work for me , and kindly reimbursed me for the device,

I use this mostly for camping or at my shed. Great to charge up phone after a day away from the campsite plus its awesome for working in my shed. I use it for little things like a light and maybe a few power tools doing odds and ends. I set up the panel on the shed roof usually or just lay it nearby to recharge.
