Q: What is the shelf life? Wedding 6 months away.

Congratulations on the wedding. I buy a case at a time and it has lasted me a full year in the past. I ordered my last case in early Dec of '19 - I just checked a bottle of my Mango Margarita Mix from that case and it says "Best By Jul 15 '20. So, I guess it depends upon when your particular case was packaged. Then again, I've used it past the "Best By" date in the past and didn't noticed any difference. You should be fine with 6 months - if you keep it in a cool place (obviously, out of sunlight). Ideally in a refrigerator, but I just keep mine in the basement of my home and a corner of the kitchen of my Lake cabin. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Q: how many ounces of mix & of liquor to make the 1, 2 or 3 cup designated on Key West machine? I am having a party and want people to make their own.

This is how I make a margarita with this mix. You use six ( oz.) which is four jiggers of Margarita mix. Then miix this Margarita mix with 2 oz. of tequilla, which is one and one/half jiggers. Blend or shake all together. Strain over ice. This makes one good drink or six "fair" drinks. (I do not use a Key West Machine.)

12/2024 UPDATE: When I first purchased this 6 pack it was a phenomenal price. Unfortunately, as with too many things, the price has DOUBLED for a set of 6 bottles of this delicious Margarita Mix. It doesn't change the fact that it tastes wonderful and you can make a professional grade margarita at home for family and friends, but I can tell you that I will not be purchasing this configuration again until the pricing comes down.This is a GREAT price for this delicious margarita mix and because you get 6 bottles you can store them in the pantry for later use. They arrived in good shape but be they are a bit heavy, of course, so just be prepared for the. I will definitely be purchasing this again.

Great When Paired with Jimmy Buffet Tequila

Combined with the Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville tequila, it's the best home margarita I've ever had. Will definitely reorder.

Tastes just like the real thing!

Mixed this with Tequila and it tasted like a real Margarita!! Only 5 more bottles to go through! Hope I survive the summer!

Good but WAY TOO SWEET

Could just be me, but even after adding tequila, it was so sweet I had to water it down.

After the hangover passes but before the next round...

WE (my wife) bought a Margarita Machine from Margaritaville (whatever that is) and it makes REALLY GOOD MARGARITAS when this mix is used. Just add the tequila and this mix to the mixing/serving container, fill the ice container and push a button on the machine. The mixer mixes the liquor and the mix and at the right moment, the ice shaver switches on and shaved ice cascades into the mixing/serving container...the whole process takes less than a minute and when the machine shuts down automatically all that's left to do is salt the glass rims, and place cut limes on the salted glasses and pour. You could do just about the same thing with a regular blender but this adds to the atmosphere of the occasion (entertaining by our beautiful pool!). It really is the best mix we've found (and it's no wonder since the machine is made by the same company as the mix-duh!) The problem is when you have a couple of these mixed drinks you really don't remember to write a review...that's the farthest thing from your mind!
