The hitch was used to carry the scooter that we ordered, in fact. It was just the right sizeand worked fine. Did not have any trouble putting it on the attachment that we had put on the car. Was very easy to use and we arew not young people!!!!!!! Thank you again for such excellent products.I would much rather go to a store and purchase an item so I can see it first hand, but The products that we have ordered from you all have been just what we wanted and the quality was what we expected. I am no longer hesitant to order something that I have only seen on the computer. Will do it again. Thank you again Keep up the good work of having products so great and affordable.

This product is perfect for us. My husband needed this for his electric cart. Prior to purchasing this, it was necessary for me to take his cart apart and lift it into the bed of the truck. Very hard for me to lift, as the heaviest part of the cart still weighed 80#. This product allows me to push/roll the fully-assembled cart into the carrier, which is much easier for me. The only drawback for me is I am unable to lift more than 50# easily, so when I have to remove the hitch carrier from the truck, it is difficult, but anyone who can lift more weight than I can would probably not have as much trouble. All in all, I would strongly recommend this product, as it does save on lifting the electric cart/scooter and you can easily roll it up the ramp. We have used it many times, and find that it does not tilt when the electric cart/scooter is loaded on the ramp. Very easy for anyone to use even if you are mechanically challenged, like I am.

This power wheel carrier is completely functional and is pretty much as I expected it would be. Assembly was simple and straight forward! It carries my power wheel chair with no problems. I did have a problem with having the right hitch size to begin with! The carrier does not work well with a 1 1/4 " trailer hitch like I had to begin with. The 2" to 1 1/4" adapter put the carrier way too far from the vehicle and caused the carrier to drag on low places when my chair was loaded on it!After changing trailer hitches to a full Calss III 2" hitch the problems went away! There is no wobble and sway now.The wheel chair carrier does NOT have a decent paint coating and began to show signs of rusting almost immediately. I can forsee hving to touch up the paint constantly. But then that is about what is to be expected from a $100.00 carrier!Apart from the finish inadeqacy I am satisfied with my purchase.

Was missing a few parts for the chain and clips that lock the ramp in place. I had to run to the hardware store since I didn't want to send this back. Also, the holes didn't line up well. Had to bang a few bolts in and be careful not to strip the threads in the process. I read this in other reviews people made so if you are not one to tinker stay away from this. Its a bit heavy and awkward to lift. So if your a person of small stature use a buddy to help. I tried to use an adapter for the trailer hitch for my Chevy Equinox which has the factory hitch. This thing doesn't work with adapters. It will hang way too low and extend too far out if you do. I tested it out before I loaded it in our driveway. If you back out a drive way has a slight uphill grade things won't end well. It fits on a Nissan Frontier decently though. No adapter in use here plus it rides higher.

This carrier arrived in excellent condition. It is exactly what I was hoping for. I was searching for a cargo carrier to carry my RV generator, and some extra cargo. Although this one is advertised as a wheelchair carrier I decided to purchase it because of it's light wieght so that I could attach it to the back of my RV without any help. Another feature that I liked was the ramp because I can load my generator alone by rolling it up the ramp. It is going to work out perfectly for what I want to use it for. My generator fits well, and I still have a lot of space for extra water containers and some other small necessities. The anti-tilt feature is a great benefit with a simple to use design. Good value purchase in all areas. I highly recommend this ramp.

I purchased this hitch carrier to hold a generator and an air compressor. The generator is heavy and hard to load into the truck, so I thought a carrier with a ramp would make things easier... The generator and compressor weigh much less than 500 lbs and that isn't really the issue - the carrier seems very sturdy and was quite easy to assemble, but it cannot be stabilized. I tried the hitch carrier on my truck (F250) and on our travel trailer (Rockwood Windjammer). On both hitches, I couldn't get the stabilizing collar to stay in place. I even tried shims - but they would come loose. And TRUST ME - I made that thing tight... With the length of the bar and the sufficient gap, the hitch carrier bounces and can send items flying. I had everything strapped down and the generator still managed to come loose. At least the ramp works... but the anti-tilt feature (the reason I bought this particular ramp) is a HUGE fail.I would never trust this carrier for a power scooter or anything seriously valuable and can't even come close to recommending it. Hopefully I'll find a way to salvage this product, but as it's designed, it's rather useless for anything heavy.

Assembly was easy and straight forward. Just not what they sold it to be. Sags off the back of the vehicle and almost drags the ground. Hard to load a scooter on since the ramp is 18 inches too short and the scooter wheels come off the ground before they get to the ramp to go up. Also no sides on ramp and scooter will run off the side since it is just wide enough for them.

Prior to my purchase, I read most of the reviews on this item. Many mentioned difficulty in assembling the item. My unit came pretty well assembled. Assembly was merely 9 or 10 nuts &his bolts to attach the top platform to the tongue extension. Some reviewers complained about the anti-tilt mechanism. I found the supplied "anti rocking" mechanism to be quite effective. As a matter of leverage, I don't think you can expect much better. I found unit to be reasonable weight, decently constructed and at about half the going rate, a phenomenal value.
