great product
people at apple store were in shock. incredible deal reccomend everyone to buy one. it supports sound for newer apples and for older ones makes much better picture quality than vga overall a great deal and seller was super quick. The item did not day dynex and thus i felt was different than the description but the product is essentially a non apple manufactured accesory that is made specifaclly only for macs.

Plugged this in and right away didn't work. Wish I had read the other reviews first -- but got it to work by using an HDMI-to-DVI cable instead of just an HDMI cable. Must just be cheap and finicky.

highly unpleasant
The product did not work. I looked up youtube tutorials, even asked my friend to try on his laptop, but it simply didn't work. Don't waist your money. I gave it one star because zero isn't an option.

Perfect, affordable, and no hassle
This is exactly as advertised. It works great when using HDMI-to-DVI, but for some reason HDMI-to-HDMI there's some distortion and image/sound quality issues, but this product is not the one at fault - you need high quality to cables.

works when it wants to. which isnt often. very disappointed

It works perfectly fine in the beginning
It works perfectly fine in the beginning. But after a while it will stop working. I have to connect and disconnect it constantly to try to get it to work. It's pretty much unusable at this point.

Working great for 6 months so far. No issues!
Been working great for about 6 months now. Zero problems. It is about 10 bucks cheaper than the other brands so that is cool. Really recommend this item!

Solid purchase
Works pretty solid, some times it takes a few minutes for the cord to display my computer. But all in all happy with the product.

Works well connecting Blackberry Z10 to an ASUS monitor with speakers
Although made for Apple it works well with my BB Z10 phone connected to an ASUS HDMI monitor with speakers.
