Yes. You can add +20db or -30db pad with separate push buttons on each input.

Q: How strong is the lock-in fit for 1/4" cable connections? Some things have a very tight fit good for leaving connections in place. Some not.

The 1/4” plugs fit as tight as any good piece of gear I’ve used. It’s a very solidly built unit. I’m only gripe is the the XLR connections are on the back and the 1/4” on the front. Go my application it would have been a better design to have had the 1/4” on the back panel. For the money it’s the best multi DI on the market. Yes there are higher end units available, but for the working musician this is a perfect balance of quality and price point.

Q: Can this be used to receive balanced xlr signal from a mixer to run into the unbalanced hiz type mic ports used on the atem mini pro, please? thanks.

My understanding of this is it is for unbalanced input and the balanced output to the mixer.
