Q: Has anyone used this lens on a Full Frame Camera? How did it perform and was there vignetting?

This is not accurate for all full frame cameras. I have the full frame Canon R6 and R5C and this lens works on both without vignetting WHEN you change the frame setting from FULL FRAME to CROP 1.6 - and there is NO VIGNETTING on either camera with this lens at that Crop setting.

Q: Has anyone used this lens on the C300? It has a super 35 sensor which is close, but not exactly like an APS-C

I've used it on a C100 and it's fine, no issues. I've also worked with it on a Red Epic at 4k and it's also fine. You will not notice any difference between using it on say a 60d or a C300.

Q: This lens usually comes w/hood?? Most sellers don't say they do so I guess not. Thinking bout getting this for my beginners kit. I need to buy hood??

Lens most definitely comes with an included Sigma hood. Any vendor who says it doesn't, is looking to rip you off.

Q: How come this lens is more expensive for Canon cameras compared to the $799.00 for Nikon and the others?

Supply and demand. The $899 price for the Canon mount is from a different retailer, whereas the $799 for Nikon and others is direct from Amazon. The Canon mount is likely sold out from amazon stock, so the 3rd party retailer is charging extra (still worth it if you ask me).
