Easy installation
This was for my ‘02 Silverado. The high note horn has not worked since I bought the truck used. I was tired of my truck sounding like a clown car, so, I bought this horn kit. Everything you need is in the kit. It literally took 5 minutes to install.

Not GM
Part was easy to install only issue I had is that the connector is not the same as the photo and would not fit my plug connector. I had to rig the plug to get it to work.

NOT GM Original Part! Wiring Doesn't Match!
CHEAP KNOCK-OFFThe beat-up product box I received was labeled to look like a GM product. However, the part is stamped "FIAMM". This is a generic product, that can be found in several configurations all over Amazon, for much cheaper.WIRING DOESN'T MATCHThis one seems to be more expensive, because of the included mounting hardware and wiring. However, I was able to use my original mounting harware, AND The included wiring connector DOES NOT mate to the car's wiring harness!HAD TO RIG ITThe only way I was able to make this work was to cut off the car's original wiring harness, then splice it directly to the horn's wiring.CONCLUSIONIf you want a genuine GM part, go elsewhere. If you don't need the mounting hardware, go elsewhere. If you don't want to ruin your car's original wiring, and have to "rig" it, then go elsewhere. JUST GO ELSEWHERE!

Sounds off?
For a genuine GM horn, they sound sorta off? The note is weird. Sounds defective. Sadly
