Great quality board book and with very simple and accurate wording. The illustrations are very bold and bright and great for young brain development. I love giving this book at baby showers!

My favorite book to read the kids! I also buy it all the time for other expecting moms. It’s accurate and teaches my boys about bacteria and how antibiotic work. It’s my go to present! I’ve bought other books by these authors too!

My 4 year old daughter now commonly refers to ‘feeding my microbiome’ when she eats, and will say ‘I think I have a Fungi’ when she’s not feeling well.Cara and Jon’s thoughtful writing and illustrations make a complex topic approachable to children without watering it down or introducing inaccuracies - they respect a child’s intelligence and create opportunities to talk with your children about what a ‘microbiome’ really is. They go beyond ‘when you’re sick, you have a germ’ and have convinced my daughter (for the time being) that she wants to be a scientist too.Well done!

Cute & educational

Great quality board book , perfect size , and perfect for reading . Many books like this for kids are great but have too many words on a page and you’ll never actually finish reading them to a kid ( I’m a teacher so I have read a lot of books to all ages ) this is fun to read for parents and kids. Great gift for any parents in the medical field . Is sure to bring a smile and spread knowledge
