My last umbrella died a death only after 1 week, so I decided to invest in a decent model. Found this umbrella and initially, I wasn't too sure but placed my order and thought that if I did not like it, I could always send it back. All I can say that this umbrella is the best I have bought so far. I had occasion to use it during a rainstorm a couple of weeks ago. This umbrella opens and shuts automatically by pressing either the up or down buttons. It opens out to be a very sturdy and good sized canopy. Whilst walking in the wind and the rain, it held firm. This is a strong umbrella and I would highly recommend it

My previous umbrella (Fulton) had become completely useless after blowing inside out so many times in the recent storms. This one looked stronger so I thought I'd try it. It's definitely more robust than the previous one and I'm very pleased with it. The mechanism is smooth and works very well. The canopy is larger than most other folding umbrellas, which means that it's bigger when it's rolled up (12" x 2"), so check you have room for it if you're planning to carry it around in your bag.

A very sturdy and good quality umbrella, just a little heavier than expected and not quite what I would call compact. It is the average size of a non golfing size umbrella. I was looking for something shorter and lighter for my daughter to keep in her school bag. I’ll happily use this one instead.

Having never purchased an expensive umbrella before, I anticipate this one will provide long-lasting service. Furthermore, its design should withstand windy conditions, and I may no longer require a highly water-resistant jacket, as this umbrella seems quite effective.

While I (thankfully) haven't yet had the chance to test this umbrella in high winds / torrential rain, it seems like a very well built umbrella.The handle is nice to hold, the button makes it very easy to use, and the colours of the rainbow fabric are perfect.Assuming it holds up in the winds and rain, (and if not that the company honour their lifetime warranty), then I am one happy customer.

Who knew spending a few extra pounds would make such a difference. I walk to and from work and this umbrella has been amazing, it’s sturdy , the automatic opening and closing are smooth , it feels so well made and does NOT blow inside out when it’s crazy windy . Only down side I can think of it’s a little heavier but worth it .

Fell in love with this when it arrived, looks fab, felt sturdy and robust.it was a bit stiff to collapse.Also, the sturdiness means that it's heavier and bulkier than most umberellasUnfortunately the mechanism broke on about the second day I used it - returned.

I bought this as I wanted a smaller/slimline/lighter umbrella. Its' not any of these but I've kept it as I needed a new umbrella. There are definitely more portable ones out there. Whether they are strong is another matter.
