This was really easy to install and seems very sturdy once in the wall.This used to come with strong adhesive, but didn’t this time around.Overall, good value for money and looks smart.

I got one of the polished ones and one of the brushed ones. They look great and easy to install... All the hardware they come with is great. But I used my own screws that were not countersunk heads and so they clashed with the nut/bolts inside the part of the rail that attaches to the wall.... This only occured on one of them and easily solved by cutting back the excess length in the bolt within the rail.But there should not be a problem if your screw heads are countersunk.

Item as described, measurements perfect, easy to install with tools provided. Polished stainless steel look — will need to see what (if any) rust occurs over time.

I installed the 12 inch version of this towel rail last night and it was a breeze. I used the plug and screw fixings provided as I was attaching to painted white plasterboard and as noted from the description, the self adhesive is not suitable for painted walls. Just to note that the adhesive option comes with glue that you need to apply alongside the adhesive strip which is why that option is only suitable for non-painted/non-wallpapered surfaces.Installation is simple for those of us that enjoy DIY but the instructions provided are very clear for even the most cautious DIY'ers. The Amazon description for the 12 inch rail says the mounting holes are 25.5cm apart but when measuring for my unit it was actually 26.1cm and that is what I used when marking out my screw holes - therefore I would suggest you do the same. There is a good amount of adjustment so you don't need to mm precise.Once attached the rail is very sturdy and there is absolutely no give when trying to move it. The rail looks good when mounted and at the risk of sounding ridiculous, it was a shame to cover it up with a towel!As mentioned by some other reviewers, to get the screwless finish you mount the rail over the brackets and then tighten two very small hex screws using the allen key provided. The key is a standard 'l-shape' but you can't do 360 degree rotations or else you risk scratching the wall - no big issue and if you have a small precision screwdriver kit you can just use that. Just make sure when mounting the rail you put the side with the allen keys at the bottom so the view from the top is flawless.

Update - several months in I’m pleased to say that this towel rail is standing up to the rigours of family life. I feel much happier with my purchase nowWe chose this towel rail based on size/finish availability and previous reviews. It’s ok but is quite lightweight and only time will tell whether it stands up to the rigours of use. We would have preferred to pay a bit more for a better quality product but they weren’T available in the size we needed

We were trying to update a half bath in our early 90's home. Switched out the brass for back, and it looks great.

Was uncertain due to the 2 piece design of the bar, but the joining is seamless, can’t tell its 2 pieces unless looking for it. And it was just what I needed, clean lines, sturdy, looks good

The box had each piece in a separate padded bag all nice and neat so nothing would be damaged. The directions were simple and printed in color so I could easily tell what to do. Simple to put up and the bar is nice and sturdy. I also bought a larger towel rack that had the same easy-to-follow directions. I'm thrilled at how these turned out!
