Best option when it comes to aftermarket led strip/projector housings for Tahoe/Yukon etc.
Excellent choice, if not the best choice, when it comes to aftermarket led strip/projector housings for this generation of Yukon/Tahoe's, etc.I'll start with the only con I can think of, which isn't necessarily a con of the headlight rather the build: not a lot of good LED bulb choices for the H7 LED low beam projector. I'm currently using Sylvania ZEVO LED as it's the only one that I've found to fit so far (normally run GTR Ultra 2.0 or SV.4 found at www.headlightrevolution.com which I've always ran in all my vehicles and are the best I've ever seen). I'm open to suggestions on any other LED bulbs that you all have ran for the low beams that fit. The projector opening on the back side is a bit small in my opinion. It'd be nice if they would've used a projector to fit H11, or something a bit more 'normal'.I thought the packaging was excellent. Great custom fitted styrofoam. The headlights arrived in perfect condition considering they were shipped from California to Indiana. The LED strip is just ballin!!!! It is so bright. That turns on with parking lights or headlights. I don't think it's a big deal that it's not the DRL. I pulled the DRL fuse in my Yukon previous to this headlight housing because I was running a LED in a reflector housing so the DRL wouldn't work in that scenario. I assume the high beams act as the DRL? It took me probably 40 minutes total to swap out both headlight housings. It took me a bit longer to figure out the fitment of the H7 bulbs with those clips. This is the first time I've ever used H7 bulbs. The dust covers fit just fine with the current Sylvania ZEVO led's I'm using.Overall: Super impressed with the quality of the housings, LED strip, fit & finish, etc. Only thing the company could do different is get a better projector in the housing for a different style bulb but then you run the risk of increasing the price, which as it sits now, is a great price point.Highly recommend!Question for anyone out there - what's a LED bulb you all are using that fits? I'm looking for a higher quality set LED's...I'm fine spending up to $200.

Best looking lights on a Yukon this year
These are by far my favorite lights for a Yukon of this year, however if you are considering getting these find the best low beam you can for the projector, I cannot find a halogen, led or any kind of light that will display a good bright pattern, ran a led but the light displayed incorrectly, currently running a hella xenon bright white 6500k 55w light and they still absolutely suck, high beams are bright but low beams are absolute garbage.

Definitely an upgrade, but not what I expected
This set of headlamp assemblies is a vast improvement over the OEM units for my 2014 Yukon. I had them professionally installed (which cost me $160 - very reasonable). Would totally be a 5-star review but I may don't think I fully understood the technical details for how these lights work and/or the way the wiring is set up in my 2014 Yukon. The units don't provide what I was ultimately looking for - LED DAYTIME running lamps. Instead, the "C-shaped" LEDs only illuminate if I manually turn the lights to parking lights or fully on. Else, the daytime running lamps are just the regular headlights. But, overall, it makes a ****HUGE**** improvement for nighttime driving compared to the OEM headlamps GM uses on this generation of Yukon/Yukon XL/Tahoe/Suburban. Pleased with the vast improvement for nighttime driving and would recommend.

The small details matter!
Although these have not yet been installed, I have unboxed them as I removed the stock incandescent bulbs in the high and low beam lamps to install Hikari 2020 LED bulbs. The rubber boot on the high beam housing fit back on well, with enough clearance room for the cooling fan on the Hikari bulbs to presumably allow the heat sink to cool the LED structure. The rubber boot on the projector low beam however is a little too shallow to allow adequate air space behind the LED fan, as the boot touch’s the lamp fan when the boot is fully pushed into place. To correct the clearance issue I had to leave the boot about 1/8” away from being fully seated, causing the boot to fit loosely and risk falling off! I then installed 4” stainless steel hose clamps around the boot to secure it, and prevent it potentially falling off. Amerilite should consider making a larger boot(s) to accommodate LED lamps that consumers may want to install. Lastly, the small vent hose on the projector lamp housing fits very loosely, falling off every time I pick it up from inside the original packing box. To fix this issue, and prevent moisture from getting into the housing, I had to apply a rubber sealant/glue around the boot opening. Amerilite should check tolerances on these parts to improve the quality perception of its products.
