Sailor Refills Kiwa-Guro Super Black 12-Pack Fountain Pen Cartridge - 13-0602-120

Beautiful ink. Really dark. Writes smoothly in my sailor fountain pen. I go through 1 cartridge like every 2 months so this 12 pack will last me the entire year! So great value for money.

These ink cartridges contain very black ink that does not soak through porous paper. I used it on cheap notebook paper and was able to write on both sides of the pages without the ink showing through the paper. It tends to run a little dryer than the standard Sailor black ink cartridge but this allows somewhat greater control of the ink delivery to the paper by increasing pressure on the tip. It also lasts longer than the standard cartridge. I use my Sailor pen every day to take notes and to write letters, writing perhaps half a dozen pages every day. Over the past month, I have used only two cartridges. So far, I have not had any of these cartridges leak in airplanes and the ink starts every time. I recommend this ink very highly.

This rapidly became my favorite waterproof black ink. Superb in Sailor pens; I also use the bottled versions in the same pens and others not made by Sailor. The cartridges are especially when you travel and do not want to haul around an ink bottle. If you use fountain pens and do not use this ink, you are missing a superb black waterproof ink. Various tests also show this ink to be extremely resistant to UV-caused fading. Price is fair for what it is.

The ink is fine but it is NOT waterproof. I specifically purchased this ink because it was stated that this ink is waterproof. If you don't need waterproof ink, this will work for you but if you need it to be waterproof, it won't.

Pigment-based inks can be finicky. But this, so far for me, behaves just like a common dye-based ink. Plus, it resists feathering, has good medium flow. And it's permanent on paper!

I usually don't like cartridges, but i made an exception just to try this ink. Beautiful very black color, permanent, nice shading, incredible sheen it dries. I already ordered a bottle.

The ink is totally fine if you don't need it to be waterproof. I thought I'd read the description carefully but I guess not. My only complaint is that there isn't enough information in the product description to determine anything other than the brand and color. It would have been helpful to know what pens it is compatible with and that it is not waterproof before purchasing.

Ink cartilage fit in my fountain pen and the ink runs smoothly! Though it is not waterproof which was bit disappointing. Worth buying it though if you need refills for your pen.Update 08/25/2024The ink leak out of my pen. I don’t know why either it could be the ink, or drop my pen, or maybe I put the ink wrong. A mess. I wish I could’ve taken the picture of the mess but I didn’t I had to clean it up before I go to bed.
