I got this for the hubby to put miscellaneous trinkets in to keep them off the dresser. It does the job! It's a nice large size and the wood is a nice color.

The clasp is difficult to open and close. The box itself is nicely constructed but the tone of the stain was a bit darker than what we anticipated. I do plan to return it but the only reason is because of the color.

The box arrived on time. It is well built, all the corners and lid align properly. It has some weight to it, not heavy, but will last for years to come. If you are looking for a nice, plain box this is it. I added her name as a decal to the lid and she was fell in love with it! More than enough room to store her cards and such. There is a smell of varnish, not strong. I think it adds character and I'm sure will dissipate with time.

I had two toy poodles that I loved dearly. I lost them at 15 and 16 years old. I wanted a keepsake box for each of them to put their little urn of their ashes in and their collars and favorite toys etc. These boxes fit the bill. They’re beautiful, well made and large enough for what I wanted to store in them.
