Rio Grande Games Transamerica Game
This game is so fun! I also have the Ticket to Ride game, which I love. This game isn't quite as complicated and can be played a bit quicker. We take it to game days with friends and it's a popular choice

Fun for the family
My sons saw this at a gaming convention and said it was fun. They were right. It’s a game that can be played with little skill, this would be a good game for many ages.

Great Starter Game for Kids (and for adults who don't want to think too hard).
This is not a deep strategy game. But I play it with my grandkids, and they love it. My grandson played it when he was 5 and couldn't read yet, but he could match the colors, and the first couple letters of each city. (We had to watch out for SAcramento and SAn Francisco.) I have a ton of games, and every one doesn't have to last 3 hours. If you're just starting out with board games, I'd recommend Camel Up, Union Pacific, Settlers of Cataan, and Lost Cities. And RA and Pickominos, and Atlantic Star and Splendor....and Bananagrams is fast and fun if you're a Scrabble and/or Boggle fan.

So easy my father-in-law can play it.
This is an incredibly simple game that can be learned by anyone in a couple minutes. A single game (ignore the game tracker) plays very quickly and has great replay value. This is a perfect into into board gaming as a hobby. This or Ticket to Ride are how to get new players in.

Learn about America and have fun!
I first played this game when visiting friends in Switzerland (we are around 70 and our friends children are teenagers who we played with). It was so much fun when we returned to the US I looked the game up on Amazon.com and was thrilled to find it was available. We bought it and the Trans Europa. They are both great games to play with pre-teens, teens, adults and seniors. The only "problem" is it is addictive - but that's a great problem to have!
