Very easy to use. Supper sharp so cuts through any vegetable with ease. Safety glove fits comfortably. Good value for money.

This product itself seems well made, good size and robust.However - and it's a big however - it is an item that needs a great deal of care when using. I managed to cut myself within minutes, even though I was wearing the gloves provided, which are frankly useless for the purpose. They did prevent a much more serious injury, but no way would I use the device again. A more suitable pair of gloves would make the difference as the mandolin is pretty good.Returned for refund

Brother in law has a mandolin and loves it for fine coleslaw. This one is fairly easy to wash. Folds flat for storage, the slice setting moves slightly under pressure so don’t push down to hard. For julienne veg is not the greatest a knife is better. Not great for fixing either but for super fine slices awesome, for the money cannot complain
