Hello, if you are wanting to know if the fabric is treated like the fire retardant material, or the OCP uniform, then no. This material isn't treated like that. I understand that, for instance you want to make masks out of this and the new policy for service members states the masks cant be made out of the uniform material due to the treatment, I assure you its not treated like the uniforms. Its the exact same material, ripstop, but not treated with any fire retardant or insect chemicals. I have used this for masks and for other items and its safe. Thank you.

It’s a heavy material just like the military uniforms and don’t think is for quilting

Q: How much would i need to do a 10'x10' square canopy tent top?

1 yard is 3 feet x 5 feet or 15 square feet. Since you will be sewing it together I would suggest that order extra when you make your computations.
