I put my white painted speakers on white shelves in the corners of my rooms. I put in a hole for the white cord to go through but they are above eye level and you can see the inside of the hole which is wood colored, not white and was a but of a rough cut. These grommets make it look much better.

I use and iPad at work and my employer is too cheap to provide better charging solutions other than the cord they came with. These help prevent me having to crawl on the floor several times a day to retrieve the fallen cord. Highly recommend.

I managed to use it for A/V cables wall pass-through hole.

The description says the item is 2 inches diameter measured from the inside of the cap. The ones they sent me are only 1.75 inches across. See photo for reference.I already have two 2" holes in my wall I need to cap off. This product is useless for me.Edit: I originally had this as a 1 star review. Instead of going through the hassle of returning it I decided to use it and just cover the outer edge of the part that gets inserted into the wall with drywall sparkling. Coated it around the edges and put it in the hole in the wall. After it dried, it seems fairly sturdy and it'll work as intended. In retrospect, using silicone caulk instead of drywall sparkling would probably be better, but oh well.
