I live an active life with a lot of bending and stretching throughout the day, so tight zipper-fly or button-fly jean shorts just don't work for my lifestyle. These shorts are so perfect that I ordered several colors. I can feed the chickens, throw pottery, take the dogs for a walk, garden and not feel pinched in the waist or thighs. That being said, I first ordered a Medium and a Large because the size chart said I was a Medium (after weight loss), but I didn't believe them. The Medium fit very nicely, and I am keeping that pair for going out to a beach dinner or festival with a cute tank top and sandals. But the Medium is a little too restrictive for my everyday lifestyle. I literally bend over a pottery wheel for hours at a time and can't have metal zippers or buttons digging into my waist. And the seams on the things don't stretch, so squatting down to clean the chicken coop or teach pottery would be a little uncomfortable in the Medium. So I ordered a Large in several sizes for my active lifestyle and kept the Medium for going out for mojitos.

I was a little worried that with sizes only available coming in S, M, L, XL that they would end up being too short or too tight. I got a medium which was my recommendation for sizes based on my other clothes items. They fit very nicely and comfortable. Happily they were not too short. They look really cute with a summer tank top. Very happy with this item. I do recommend these shorts. Being a older lady i had reservations about getting these. I'm glad I took the chance. The look very appropriate. Both for younger and older ladies.

I’m not a fan of my thighs as a curvy woman so I never wear shorts. I thought I’d give these a try because they looked like they would be a little baggy and not tight on my thighs. These are definitely the best ones I’ve tried and are infact loose on my thighs like I like them to be. I have a big butt and big thighs and I got an XL. If I got another pair I would try an XXL just to make them a bit more lose but over all they are nice shorts. Also they are the perfect length! They are not too short and they don’t seem to ride up but I’ve only tried them on so far.

I first ordered an XL in these shorts, because that's my normal size (I'm 5'3 and 220lbs), they were a bit snug. So, I ordered an XXL, they fit better but after a couple of hours wearing them, it seemed like they became baggier. The overall quality is actually pretty nice; they are a good thickness and very comfortable. I did end up wearing the XL and like the XXL they ended up stretching out after a while. I plan on order more in different colors.

Let me just start by saying I wish I had 10 pair of these. They are super comfortable, fit true to size and are priced right. They wash well and the material is not too thick and not too thin. The waist height and leg length is exactly as stated. I highly recommend these shorts

This Pair of Jean Shorts are perfect for my wardrobe, It will be a good match for my Grey Tank top that I also bought. I am glad Amazon had it. I will buy it again if I need Jean Shorts :)

Love these shorts. Have multiple colors. Soft, comfy, great pockets and I love the cut off hem and elastic waist. I wear them almost daily mixing it up wit different Ts and tops will dress them up or down. Great value!

I like to let people know height and weight so they can compare. I got an XS, I am 5'3" and 106. These still give me a bit of a baggy butt, but theses shorts are to wear around the house, and work in the garden, not to wear going out. They fell a bit stiff, but we will see after a few washes. As cute as they are, for me I will not get any more, as they do not really fit for someone my size.
