Is this paint water based?

Yes this paint is water based....has very little odour and went on like a dream.

I wouldn't use it on treads. Where the kitchen doors are touching we are seeing a few scuffs appearing after 3 coats. So heavy traffic on stairs, I'm guessing it would come off. But bannisters would look lovely!
