Hello, Thanks for interesting in our film. Here are the UV rejection of all of our four colors. 1. Black-silver: Blocks up to 91% of UV rays 2. Tea-silver: Blocks up to 89% of UV rays 3. Blue-silver: Blocks up to 87% of UV rays 4. Silver: Blocks up to 71% of UV rays

AFAIK, this is the way all films work and there is no film that works otherwise. It has to do with which side is getting the light. If you are looking for privacy and UV/IR reduction, consider adding a Frosted/Wavy/Tulip type film with this film on the inside. People on the outside will see the image distorting film (as many windows high as desired) and you will have the UV/IR protection. There may be UV/IR blocking films with frosting already on them, I have not looked.

Thanks for your question. This one way window film can blocking out most of the solar rays by reflecting it away from the window, which can keep cool in summer, but please do not expect it can worked as an air conditioner to make your room very cooler. Hope this would help you.

Effective, not too hard to fit, good price!

Firstly, treat yourself to a pair of white cotton gloves (less than £1.50 on this website...) - it will stop your naturally oily fingerprints ending up on both sides of this fine product. I cut each piece to size first - 4 small to medium double glazed window panels. Then... the hardest part of using such products is separating the protective backing film from the main product (which is nearly black on one side - the side that faces out) and partially see through on other side. And as every review or instruction says... use tons of soapy water on the window AND on the (now unprotected) film sheet. Then put it in place, and drive the bubbles outwards, using a window-cleaning squeegee. And it's OK (and effective) to press really hard to slowly press the bubble outwards towards the edges, and released in a squirt of soapy water. Or, at lesat on my double glazed small panels, I was able to press really hard, and get a good even fix. Enjoy, it's worth it!

Meh

Works okay for privacy but makes no difference at all to heat coming in when sun is on the window, so if that’s your goal, don’t bother. Also frustrating that on installation there were no bubbles; came back the next day and there were lots of little bubbles. Wouldn’t buy again.
