Not quite 90 pounds
I don't have a scale to properly measure these things, but I'm pretty sure they're not quite 90 pounds each given the amount of effort it takes to remove them. Maybe total, but not each. Still strong as hell, and works fine to hold my Ring camera to my steel doorframe which is what I bought them for.

Strong. Strong. Did I mention they're STRONG?
Needed one to hold a large, bulky gate open while entering. Magnet countersunk into 4x4 post; steel washer to match on gate. Bingo.Note: Nobody's kidding. These are gonna be STRONGER than you expect.

Good strong magnets.
These are perfect for its intended use. they are very strong magnets and, with the included screws were easy to set up as I intended to screw them to an underside cabinet. They are quite powerful and, if you let them attach to themselves or, even a metal surface it is difficult to pull them apart (they are small and no grip. I had to use a pliers on one and slide it off by positioning the other on a horizontal surface. My first "test" was to see if there was enough surface area to hold a full size Beretta 92 from the top of the slide/rail. yes, it holds it securely with, IMO, no possibility of the weapon falling.I then tested it with various tools: hammer, small sledge hammer and finally a 10 pound sledge hammer,.Each was held securely both on the side and on top of the tool (horizontal and vertical shear.)I only give 4 stars because I doubt that it actually has a 90lbs rating. While my test was not an accurate scientific test, I attached a loop for a scale. then, by lifting I found that the magnet would separate from a metal surface at between 27 and 35 lbs. In fairness, I believe it has slight more pulling power since the bolt/eye I used was not perfectly flat with the magnet surface and, protruded a little (in my guestimation) between 1/32 and 1/16 of an inch thus, there was a little gap in full contact with the metal.
