Large Make Your Own Gingerbread House kit 560g- Christmas Family Fun 2024

It arrived broken? The icing was dry as a bone & unusable. So had to cut bag out & add water. Icing smelt bad like rotten coconut. It all fell apart & broke as we tried to make it. An abject failure that went straight in the bin. We did laugh about how rubbish it was but its a lot of money for a useless product.

The smell has to be the worst thing about this so called gingerbread house!!The consistency of the “icing” is so wrong as will never work to bond these pieces together, the candy sweets are also as bad!The shape and size of the pieces of gingerbread didn’t line up so impossible to build correctly, side pieces arrived all smashed so we spent more time doing repairs than actually building the house!Looks a great idea, most certainly wasn’t!!Be ready for disappointment if you purchase this to build with the kids!

Lovely picture on the box.. how deceiving!!! Ginger bread was broken and broke when you carefully removed the packaging, icing was hard so couldn’t pipe, sweets and ginger bread was stale so couldn’t even eat… don’t not waste your money

The plastic base was crushed and cracked on one side. Two parts of the ginger bread cracked when assembling. The instructions are hopeless and the icing won’t dry. I’ve assembled Gingerbread houses with my son before and it’s always been straightforward. This time was a nightmare! I would have thought that the quality would have been much better due to the cost of it.

First time ever making a gingerbread house, I was very happy with what I received and managed to make! I'll be buying another one for next year's Christmas. 🎄

No outer packaging, all pieces were broken, icing tasted awful and was so hard it wasn't useable!! Terrible value for money!!

It was good in terms of the parts given and the design aspect but the icing was horrible and the texture was more like glue so was very hard to decorate with that. Due to the gingerbread being premade it was also very hard

Terrible gingerbread house!Was all broken when we opened it. Always do a gingerbread house on Xmas Eve & couldn’t even piece it together! My son was upset we couldn’t do it this year
