Great Case - With Modifications
There are essentially two types of mobile device (phone, tablet) cases - folio or open, with variations between both. A folio case is enclosed, like a book, and covers the front and back of the device; this type of case is more commonly found on tablets and notebooks. An open case has the front (display screen) exposed and is more commonly found on smaller devices like phones for easier access to the screen. Both can provide adequate extra protection, depending on device and case, and your use. This case is in the latter category of an open case. And as a review preface, this tablet is huge - laptop or notebook territory. With this case on, it measures over 15" corner to corner, and weighs almost 3 pounds (2lb 12+ oz). You need a case. And this is a good one - probably the most protective (with caveats) of any case out there, hence the weight and bulk. It will protect from most drops, bumps and scrapes from normal use, though obviously won't protect it from a drop from a high building or running over with your car, but otherwise your expensive tablet should fare well from the usual tablet accidents. It completely encloses the tablet front to back, and the back is well protected with a combination of ballistic plastic and cushioning rubber. The (minor) downside of this case is the minus common to all open cases - the display screen is exposed. And what a screen - just slightly smaller than the tablet itself, with a tiny bezel. This will be the contact point with daily use - hands, stylus, a tabletop or a face-down drop. You get the picture. The screen glass itself is pretty tough, but it needs some sort of cover to prevent scratches at a minimum, and that's what this case provides - the minimum protection. On the plus side, it's a built-in screen cover - nothing else needed except installing the tablet in the case - a tradeoff of convenience over protection. On the minus side, it's a built-in screen cover, meaning you can't replace it without replacing the case (with one exception below). And as a screen cover, it's minimal - thin hard plastic, subject to hard-to-remove smears, relatively easily scratched from debris, and no shock protection - any hard impact will translate directly to the tablet screen. The raised bezel on the case is fairly substantial and will protect from a flat drop, but not from an irregular impact on the screen, and here the screen cover provides almost no protection. As an alternative - and one I recommend - you can remove the built-in cover (easy to do with a hair dryer and peeling it off) and install a tempered glass protector, which will protect both from impact and scratches, and be much easier to clean. Then you get the best of both worlds - top notch protection for tablet and screen. But you need to modify the case to do that, so not perfect as-is, but fixable. As an open case, this is one of the best, with suggestions as noted.

Great buy!!
Great case, heavy duty and well made. I know that it will protect my expensive tablet!

Good purchase.
Good case overall. You will have trouble using finger print to unlock most times. I will have to do it over again and add a second finger to confirm. So far my thumb has issues to unlock the tablet when the case is on. Also, there is no handle to allow you to easily carry it.But the case itself offers great protection.

Amazing Protection
I was a SUPCASE user with my Samsung Note 5. It saved my phone 10s of destructive falls. The only issue was, plastic started to get brittle and lost chunks of it all around after 7 years of heavy use (after 7 years, it still looks like brand new). With that good protection experience I immediately got this case for my new S8 Ultra tablet. It has a great build quality, and perfect fit. It makes it a bit chunky to hold, but I kind of like that, it gives my confidence with the sturdiness of the tablet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for the most protective case. The only drawback I have is with the front screen protector that is part of the case. It makes the screen pretty reflective, and less usable in bright daylight outside. Besides that, it is just perfect!!!

Excellent as always
This case as with all of the other Unicorn Beetle Pro options for other devices is excellent. There are a couple of changes that I personally make to every one of Supcase's offerings to better suite my needs though. First off, I remove the integrated screen protector. As these cases aren't dustproof, it's only a matter of time before some debris becomes lodged in between the screen and the protector. That will enhance the likelihood of scratches on the screen. The other change that I make is that I use a precision razor to cut off the charging port flap. In all prior iterations of this case that I have used, it was with various iPad Pro models. When combined with a tempered glass screen protector, it causes issues due to the thickness of the screen protector and the face of this case. The result is that it puts too much pressure on the face of the device/protector and then lifts sections of the glass, or forces the screen further into the chassis of the tablet itself. As such, I've found that when using this family of cases, it's better to use a film bases protector. This is specifically my personal experience and exclusive to iPad Pros. The upside is that film bases matte screen protectors are better for the Apple Pencil experience anyway. So, here we are with this on the Tab S8 Ultra, but I have a glass screen protector installed at this time. Will it last way? I don't know. What I do know is that I like this case enough that if it doesn't work out with the combination of tempered glass and this case, I'll keep the case, and switch to a clear film protector. You won't want to use a matte protector with the S-Pens. The soft nib will wear very quickly. I didn't mean for this to turn into a screen protector review, but it is a SIGNIFICANT consideration regarding this case in all of my prior experiences with other (Apple specifically) devices in the past. That consideration aside, this is an EXCELLENT product that makes this tablet usable as a tablet. No more of accidental screen presses and hurting hands due to the thinness of the device when bare. I HIGHLY suggest not getting this case if you intend to regularly use the Samsung Keyboard Cover. Removal of this case and then reinstalling after each time using the keyboard cover is tedious at best. There are tons of portable bluetooth keyboards that offer a better typing experience anyway...So all isn't without hope.

Well Made
This case is top notch. The feel of it is solid and you can be sure it won't let you down. It's nice and light but feels just as firm as more expensive and highly rated cases. To install it was quite easy...eve the screen protector wasn't as bad. While the looks of it is a welcoming thing, it would be nice if it has a handgrip type a thing on it. Not really a big deal but just an observation.
