Tired of Buying Ink Every Other Week?
I used to print a ton of stuff: documents, photos, cards etc. And every six months I'd spend more on ink cartridges than the price of my printer (several Epsons and a (POJ) Brother)! After doing some research I found this (Epson 2750) series of printers. Now I've had 4-5 Epson printers over the years and have come to trust them for dependable, easy-to-use products. But there was no way around the "Ink Stink" - sucking ink like a 70s gas-guzzler! But it wasn't just the price. How many times have you been part way thru a print job and had the dreaded "You're out of ink sucker" message? And it always happens at 3 AM on a weekend... And if you screwed up and have replacement cartridges for every color but the one you're out of... AAAAAARGHHHHH!Well, here comes Epson to the rescue! While this printer will not do dishes or make the bed, it will cover almost any home print job you could ask for. Kids in school? Got it. Work project from home? Done. Reprints of the family holiday gathering? Bingo. Beautiful wall murals? Uh, no.So it's not perfect! But what it does do, it does well, quick and cleanly, and most importantly, in an ink-miserly fashion. Due to a lifestyle change, I cut back on my printing so I only print 50-75 pages per month. But since I filled up at the startup, I have not run out of ink yet. Lemme say that again: I HAVE BEEN PRINTING FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND HAVE NOT RUN OUT OF INK YET!I keep thinking there's something wrong with the ink tanks, and I shake the printer to make sure I'm not missing something. But no, it still prints really nice images and documents, and just does not use much ink in the process.Yes, you will pay a little more up front for the printer, and that is where Epson makes their money. But if you want the convenience of filling ink once in a blue moon, without taking out a second mortgage, with a minimum of fuss and no mess, you need to look at this line of Epson printers.I don't mind sounding like a fanboy when something really is a great value. Too bad they don't have a six-start rating!

You won't regret buying this printer.
My husband bought this printer for work. He works from home, so I've been able to use it frequently as well and so far I'm loving it. I will say that setting it up was a nightmare. I'm far from technical guru, but do have moderate experience with computers and have set up several printers over the years. The main issue was getting the software on his work computer that does not have a CD drive. You can download the software from the Epson website, but for some reason it was extremely difficult to do. After downloading I would get an error message saying it was unsuccessful. After fighting with it for 3 days I finally got it setup, and I honestly have no idea how I did it so I cannot give any tips for others in a similar situation. After the initial headache though, it's been smooth sailing. I love the borderless printing option, it really does print all the way to the edge of the paper with excellent quality. The ink is super easy to load, and will save us a bundle of money over the life of the printer. You get a LOT of ink! The scanner on our last printer was awful. The picture quality was pathetic. This scanner is crazy good! We were both impressed with how well and clear the scanned images are. Same with the copier. I have no complaints whatsoever about this product and would absolutely recommend it without hesitation, although it'll be a lot easier to install if you have a CD drive to install the software. Once you have it set up, everything is very easy to use. The printer basically walks you through everything. If you can read, you can use this printer. The only thing my husband doesn't like is that you can only scan one page at a time and you have to place each page individually on the scanner/copier. He has to scan dozens of pages at a time, and he is used to putting a stack of pages in the printer all at once (the way you put blank paper in for printing). That's our fault though for not completely reading the product description before purchasing, so I certainly can't take away any stars for our own error. Overall, you really can't go wrong with this printer. I've been at my parents house over 100 miles away and can print things as if I were at home where the printer is. My only regret is not buying it 3 years ago.

Wireless Printing Easy to Configure
Excellent product! Standard paper output is clear and sharp. Adding of ink is simple and clean. Device is easy to add and configure on any network. Remote printing and scanning via email and Android devices works well. Recommend buying the USB printer cable (not included) for direct connection. Double-sided printing option is default so some minor pre-configuring for single-sided printing is somewhat confusing for some users. Some sizes of envelopes have a tendency to jam although size 10 (4 1/8 x 9 1/2) seem to work fine. Small display on unit is hard to see for those who are visually impaired. Epson Connect user page makes it easy to perform remote configuration of the printer. My prior printer was an Epson Stylus Color 900 that was originally purchased in the 90's and was reliable for many years so I have a lot of confidence in Epson products.
