So glad I bought this
10/10. Absolutely stunning. Im a 2-3 cups of tea a day kinda girlie and this just brings me joy since buying this a few days ago. Buy immediately. Sturdy handle. shiny exterior. Large capacity. Shut off works as intended. Worth the money. Bought the matching toaster and I adore how they look on the kitchen counter.

Good Looking
I was very disappointed that two small round holes developed in the "see through" panel in the kettle housing. It wasn't until I went to order a replacement, the Amazon site advised its eleven years since I last purchased this product!!!!!Looks good and boils quickly.

Stylish, fast boiling, decent value
It’s a bit of a marmite design, either you really like it or really don’t. But it’s a good quality kettle that functions well.

bought to replace identical model
I have used this model of kettle for about 9 years and this is the 3rd kettle I have bought. considering the amount of times the kettle is used I am happy with that life span. I love the look of this model and it matches the toaster I have. It is easy to use, quick to boil and simple to descale. I am a huge fan and just happy that I can still buy this model on Amazon at a reasonable price.

Brilliant kettle!
While raising a family I have gone through a few kettles. I have tried many makes and designs but never spending more that around £25. All of them eventually dribbled from the spout and all of them were noisy, and became worse as time went on. Recently I went on a search for a new kettle as the one I was using was driving us insane..It sounded like a threshing machine and we had to mop the worktop after pouring into a cup. My search still had the spending sum of around £25 to £30 in mind but I ended up very impressed with the reviews on this kettle and of course it looks gorgeous. I decided to dig a bit deeper and buy it. We have only been using it a few weeks but we are glad we bought it. Its worth every penny. I sleep in the room above the kitchen and my husband used to boil his very early morning water for his cuppa in a saucepan because the kettle was so noisy. Now he can use the new kettle and I don't hear it at all. This kettle is definitely worth paying the extra money for and on top of all that, its a real eye catcher. People comment on it. Mindyou, De'Longhi is a good make. I have had a mini oven of theirs for many years and its still going strong.

Pours prettily, occasionally provides party lighting
This was one of the presents I gave my girlfriend for christmas, a kettle.See ours leaked and she coveted this thing the day she saw it. It's twice the price of a long list of decent kettles but it is purdy, incidentally when the harsh winter sunbeams hit it in the kitchen it reacts not unlike a disco ball, which is nice, I think. It boils quickly, like well, a 3 kilowatt kettle does. It holds a goodly amount of water but it does have two things that are a vast improvement over the kettles I've had and used. The spout is controlled, even when you're getting the last out of it - this is something you'd never care about, unless you have a whole bunch of stuff to measure out every day, which my dear daughter provides so efficiently with her formula consumption. The other improvement being the nice way the switch clicks up, it makes the normal thunk seem kind of trampy. So it is just a kettle, but it's pretty and seems to be made well, it makes my girlfriend happy and while it was stupid at its original price, I can live with £45 for a good kettle.
