Before buying this item i read that the fan was incredibly noisy and sounded like a jet engine.What utter nonsense, the card is silent and the quality is OUT OF THIS WORLD.Worth every single penny and unlike the Black Magic route, everything works perfectly.As far as capture cards go, this is by far the Rolls Royce of cards.Magewell - first class.

Note that there is no "official retail pack" from Magewell for this product, and no driver disk or printed manual either (which need to be downloaded from the Magewell.com website). Many of these cards are sold as OEM products and although Magewell have a generic "retail box" available for resellers to use, it is not specifically tailored to any particular product and its use is at the discretion of the reseller, so it's not unusual for the product to be supplied to end users in the same black anti-static bubble-wrap bag as they are shipped from Magewell (as pictured)Magewell Pro Capture Quad HDMI.
