I love this power stick because it feels rugged, the grip is super duper comfy which I love. It works like a charm, and I've had no issues what-so-ever after using it multiple times for my DJI Action 5 Pro. I'm able to connect virtually any Action Camera, including my latest "The Insta 360 X5". I can tell you without a doubt, this is a great investment, and I'm hoping and convinced that it'll last a long time. Everything has a max-cycle, but you don't really NEED to use the power of this unit unless your Action Camera is getting low, and you're doing a project, or a Video for YouTube (or any other social networking video viewing website). In some cases, you could even mount this entire unit ON TOP of another Tripod for even longer / extended length.My favorite Power Stick is this unit without a doubt as I have other less expensive ones, most of them are designed for the DJI Pocket 3 (they're good too, but can only be used with that). If you want flexibility, go with one of these units. I plan on giving this one a shot with my Sony FDR X3000, and if it doesn't work, I could always get an adapter (not a big deal breaker at all since there is always a way when you have a will, right?).Get this power stick, you won't be sorry! I really wanted a selfie stick like this with some extra battery capacity so I got one but it didn't extend. When I saw this one I thought it would be a great item to add to my camera kit. Unfortunately this isn't going to work and I can't recommend as it has a few major flaws.- When I first spotted this I had some reservations over the size and shape of the handle. Once I actually got this into my hand though it wasn't so bad BUT that lead to the second major flaw- The second major flaw is the fact that the head does not rotate. That means that when the handle is in the most comfortable position for your hand the camera is actually sideways and not facing forward (or backward). To make the camera face forward you have to rotate the entire device a quarter turn making it very wide for your hand and uncomfortable to use.- The third major flaw is the head and extension shaft. The extension shaft is very tight and needs some force to extend. As a result when I pulled on the head it popped out and left the shaft down inside the handle. I was able to push it back in and extend the shaft but it popped out again. I noticed that the plastic head was press fit into the metal shaft and there was no signs of glue or epoxy to seal the head in.I really wanted to like this but with all the flaws it's going back in the box and heading back to Amazon.

I bought this as a means of extending the battery life of my GoPro beyond the three to four hours I currently get from my GoPro Volta, and I wasn’t disappointed. I acjived almost six and a half hours of continuous shooting on a single charge. The selfie stick extension is a bonus and is unique in having the power USB cable attached at the top of the stick so that it goes with the extended stick when you stretch it out.The grip itself is heavier and thicker than the Volta and several inches longer making it ideal for a two handed grip, which certainly aids stability, though I suspect a smaller person could find it awkward and tiring to handle for a long period.The charging port is well sealed and can be a tad difficult to open. You need good fingernails to open the cover,I have also used the battery with several other devices as a backup power source which is very useful.If I had to nit-pick I would say that it could really benefit from the addition of two improvements:1. The addition of a connection to attach a wrist strap or lanyard which would make using it in fast action situations feel more secure.2. The addition of tripod legs, though I suspect these would make it rather too bulky and heavy given the already thick and substantial grip.I did use it for three hours of shooting in a steady rain and it had no problems.If you are looking for a straightforward way to extend your device’s battery life with the bonus of a a well designed selfie stick that keeps the power cable at the business end of the extended stick, this is a great product for a bargain price. Just make sure you are willing to handle the weight.

I purchase my first one and absolutely loved it until the part where you mount the camera fell off, The wiring got damaged a bit so just to be on the safe side I purchased another one. This one started to act up as the battery is not charging fully and will actually start getting extremely hot if I did not disconnect it from the charger. Reached out to the company to try to start a warranty process since the product is really good for what it is and I would like to keep using it. Company is now sending me a replacement. So VERY happy to keep using this product. Can snowboard a full day without worrying about the battery. First used it with a GoPro Hero10, but switched to an Insta360 AcePro. Works great with both, just wish insta360 would come out with a passthrough usb door, currently have to use the mic adapter, had to use a rubber band to keep the plug in, but it works great!

I bought two of these to power my DJI Osmos Action 4 cameras that I use to video tennis matches. So far I haven't had any problem with mounting the cameras on them or battery life for the duration of a three set tennis match. The battery connection to the camera is perfect length and grip itself is very sturdy and stable. I highly recommend this for those who are looking for extended battery life and a stable selfie stick.

Excellent product for go pro. Its all what you need for long recordings, it also works to charge a led light if you need or any other accesories.I record with my gopro with this and i dont need any other battery for long shootings
